In A Funk was a blast to record, with Chris "Hambone" Cameron on keyboards, Chuck Webb on bass, and Rob Davis on drums, we really brought this tune to life with the exact vibe I was hoping to capture. In a bit of a Jazz Funk style, this recording is my take on the Jimmy Smith/Wes Montgomery guitar meets organ jam, with an upbeat tempo and an ending with a twist.
